This famous picture by Friedrich has been reproduced and reworked many times. I have it on the cover of Terry Eagleton's Ideology of the Aestheticand on a Penguin edition of Nietzsche's Ecce Homo. Robert Ballagh also has Gerry Adams on a rock in similar pose. Are there any more out there?
